NIU Department of Environmental Engineering students are qualified to register for entrance examinations necessary to pursue a master or PhD degree at domestic public or private institutions of higher learning in the following academic fields: Environmental Engineering; Environmental Planning & Management; Environmental Management & Safety Technology; Environmental Engineering & Science; Civil Engineering; Safety, Health & Environmental Engineering; and Environmental Engineering & Health. Students may also apply to overseas graduate institutes of technology or the environmental sciences to pursue a master or PhD degree.
